Mauser receiver mounted with a Swarovski 3-10x42 Habicht telescopic sight, serial no. M773521600, in quickly-detachable mounts, the rear ring engraved with a starburst and 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND NO. 2088', colour-hardened recoil blocks, hinged straddle floorplate with push button release, engraved 'MADE IN ENGLAND' and '4 CARTRIDGES', pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, colour-hardened steel pistolgrip-cap (with trap), sling eyes, 14 1/4in. pull including 5/8in. rubber recoil pad, weight 8lb. 6oz. (unscoped) and 9lb. 7oz. (with scope); together with a Nickel Supra 4x36 L91 E/O telescopic sight, serial no. 406456
Provenance: The makers have kindly confirmed that the rifle was completed as a 'BQ .375 Magnum F.N. Mauser' on the 24th January 1962 for a Mr M. Laxman
